Youth Employment Training and workforce Programs

The Georgia Avenue Business Improvement District & Development Corporation (GABIDDC) each year seeks new workforce development, youth training and employment opportunities for residents of our City. Our first success on this score was in 2014 and we’ve continued seeking to provide these programs every summer. Our goal is to create a GABIDD Video Game Institute in collaboration with┬áThe Black Student Fund (BSF). Each year we teach young people to code video games and similar IT related skills. We’d like to expand the program to something year round.
